On Monday, the 8th., of December in the year 1794,
Mestre
after the investigations into the single life, I,
and
who sign below, after the three announcements for
Maria Lorenzo Holy Mother, the Church, on the three feast Days,
at the main Mass;
First- on the 24th Sunday after Pentecost,
Second-on the 1st Sunday of Advent,
Third-on the 2nd. Sunday of Advent,
all necessary formalities being vacated, no imped-
iments what-so-ever; I, Don Thomas Hassett, Priest,
Vicar, Ecc'l. Judge of Holy Parish Church, Province
of St. Augustine in East Florida, received the mutual
consent of Bartolome Mestre, single, native of this
Parish, legitimate son of Pedro Mestre and Maria
Andreu:--- and of Maria Lorenzo, single native of
this Parish, legitimate daughter of Juan Lorenzo and
of Maria Vila, residents of this City; whose mutual
consent was received by word and presence which makes
for true and legitimate marriage, Bartolome Mestre
solomnly received for his legitimate wife and spouse
Maria Lorenzo and she, the referred Bartolome Mestre
for her legitimate husband and spouse in my presence
and the witnesses, Pedro Mestre and Maria Andreu,re-
sidents of this City, after which they received the
Nuptual Benediction, knowing their Christian Doc-
trine,had Confession and Holy Communion the same
day.
