priest and auxiliary vicar et al baptised and
placed holy oils upon a child born on the 7th of
the same month, legitimate daughter of Josef Baya
native, son of Antonio and Juana Xumenes...and of
Rafaela Usina, native, daughter of Antonio Usina
and Rafaela Capo. During ceremonies I gave name:
Juana Antonia Florencia.
Godparents: Juan Triay (step-father to Baya)
Rafaela Capo(mother of Mrs. Baya)
Residents of the city whom I informed of their
spiritual parentage and other obligations.

Saturday, the 26th. of December in the year 1795,
after the investigations into the single life, I,
who sign below, after the three banns before Holy
Mother, the Church on the three feast days, at the
main Mass;
The first on the second Sunday of Advent,
The second on the feast of the Purification of the
Blessed Virgin Mary,
The third on the third Sunday of Advent,
After all necessary formalities being vacated, be-
ing no impediment what-so-ever, I, Don Miguel
O'Reilly, Priest, Vicar, Ecc'l. Judge of the Parish
Church and the Province of St. Augustine, Florida,
received the mutual consent of Jose Baya of the
single state, native of this Parish, legitimate son
of Antonio Baya and Juana Ximines, natives of the
Isle of Minorca and of Rafaela Usina., also single,
native of this Parish, legitimate daughter of An-
tonio (Usina) and Rafaela (Capo), of the referred
Island of Minorca,
Whose mutual consent I did receive by spoken word
and presence which makes true and legitimate mat-
riomy, Jose Baya solemnly received for his legit-
imate wife and spouse Rafaela Usina. and she the re-
ferred Jose Baya, for her legitimate husband and
spouse in my presence and that of witnesses, Juan
Triay and Rafaela Capo, residents of this place.
I advised that there would be no living together
in the same house until they had received the nup-
tial benediction.
They knew their Christian Doctrine, had Confession
and Communion the same day.
