On Wednesday, April 18, 2018, Jana M. Holmberg, passed away suddenly at the age of 55 years. Jana will be forever remembered by her sister Tina, her many cousins and friends.

Jana was born in Karhula, Finland along with her twin sister Tina on May 27, 1962 and came to the United States with her parents Albert and Lisa Holmberg. They were raised in Pennsylvania and St. Augustine, Florida. Being twins, Jana loved being around Tina while growing up. Jana's interests included family, love of animals, Nursing and her religion. In addition, she devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her mother and father until her parents passed away. She was very fond of her dad's sister, Aunt Ann Parker.

Jana attended college at Penn State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Nursing, and also received a Masters degree from Penn State in Nursing.

A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated in memory of Jana on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, 38 Cathedral Pl, St Augustine, FL, with Father Thomas Willis presiding.

Memorial donations in memory of Jana may be made to the St. Augustine Humane Society, P.O. Box 133, St. Augustine, FL 32085. Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.
